We are looking for a QA Engineer to own quality across the PlugIQ platform. This is not a manual testing role — we want someone who thinks systematically about quality, builds automation that scales, and acts as a forcing function for engineering discipline.
What You’ll Do
- Design and implement automated test suites (unit, integration, end-to-end) for PlugIQ’s workflow engine and UI.
- Own the release quality process — define what “ready to ship” means and enforce it.
- Build regression test coverage that keeps pace with rapid product development.
- Work with engineers during development, not just after — shift quality left.
- Identify and document bugs with enough precision that engineers can act immediately.
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of QA engineering experience with a strong focus on test automation.
- Experience with tools like Playwright, Cypress, Jest, or equivalent.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into deployment workflows.
- A disposition toward precision — you notice things others miss and you document them clearly.
