Viewing External Submissions

External submissions appear in the process’s record list alongside internal submissions. They are tagged with an External badge so you can distinguish them at a glance. All the same approval workflows, SLA timers, and audit trail features apply.

Communicating with External Submitters

External submitters receive email notifications when their submission status changes. You can send them a message using the External Comment feature on the record.

External Submitter Portal

Submitters receive a unique link in their confirmation email that lets them view the status of their submission without logging in. They can see which stage it is at and read any external comments directed at them.

Bulk Management

Use the Records view with the External filter to see all external submissions. From here, you can bulk-approve, bulk-reject, or export them to CSV for reporting.
