Setting Up an Open Submission URL

How to enable a public URL so anyone — without a PlugIQ account — can submit to your process.

What is an Open Submission URL?

An open submission URL allows anyone — including people outside your PlugIQ workspace — to submit a request through a specific process. This is ideal for vendor applications, customer support intake, event registrations, or any scenario where you need input from people who do not have a PlugIQ account.

Enabling the Open URL

  1. Open the process in the builder and click the Access tab.
  2. Toggle Public Submission URL to on.
  3. Optionally set a custom URL slug.
  4. Configure authentication options: allow fully anonymous submissions, require email verification, or require an access code.
  5. Click Save.

Spam Protection

PlugIQ includes reCAPTCHA on all public submission forms by default. Enterprise workspaces can replace this with their own CAPTCHA provider.

Rate Limiting

Public submission URLs are rate-limited to 100 submissions per hour from a single IP address. Contact support to adjust this limit for Enterprise workspaces.
