How to use AI-assisted process creation — describe your workflow in plain English and let Copilot generate the first draft.

What is Build Copilot?

Build Copilot is PlugIQ’s AI-powered process creation assistant. Instead of configuring every stage, field, and routing rule manually, you describe your workflow in plain English and Copilot generates a complete draft for you to review and refine.

Starting a Copilot Session

  1. Click New Process from the dashboard.
  2. Select Build with Copilot.
  3. Type a description of your workflow. Example: “New vendor onboarding that requires legal review, then finance approval, with a 5-day SLA on each stage.”
  4. Copilot will ask clarifying questions if it needs more context.
  5. Review the generated draft in the visual builder.

What Copilot Generates

From your description, Copilot creates suggested stages, a form with relevant field types, routing conditions between stages, and SLA timers where deadlines were mentioned.

Tips for Better Results

  • Mention the department or team responsible at each stage.
  • Include any deadlines or SLA expectations.
  • Specify whether unanimous or single approval is needed at each step.
