Forms and Fields

All available field types, visibility conditions, repeatable sections, and approver-only fields.

The Form Editor

Each process has a submission form built in the Form Editor. Access it by clicking the Form tab in the process builder.

Field Types

  • Short Text — single-line text, ideal for names and identifiers.
  • Long Text — multi-line text area with optional character limit.
  • Number — numeric input with optional min/max validation.
  • Date / Date Range — date picker with optional future-only restriction.
  • Dropdown / Multi-select — choose from a predefined list of options.
  • File Upload — supports PDF, DOCX, XLSX, PNG, and JPEG up to 50 MB per file.
  • Signature — draws or uploads a signature and attaches it to the record.
  • People Picker — selects users from the workspace directory.

Repeatable Sections

Mark a section as Repeatable to allow submitters to add multiple entries — useful for itemized expense lists or multi-line purchase orders.

Approver-Only Fields

Toggle Approver Only on any field to hide it from submitters. Use this for internal notes, scoring, or decision rationale fields.
