Acting as Approver

Your approval queue, review actions, bulk approvals, approving via email, and delegation.

Your Approval Queue

When a record reaches a stage where you are assigned as an approver, it appears in the Action Required section of your dashboard and you receive an email notification with a direct link.

Approval Actions

  • Approve — marks your step as complete and routes the record to the next stage.
  • Reject — returns the record to the submitter. A rejection reason is required.
  • Request More Information — sends the record back to the submitter with a question. The record returns to you after they respond.
  • Reassign — transfers your approval responsibility to another user.

Delegation

Set up an approval delegation in Settings → My Profile → Delegation to automatically reassign your approvals to a colleague when you are out of office.
